Kira has been praised by so many (Kars is lame though). JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is one of the longest-running manga and anime franchises of Japan, having spawned eight parts of the manga, anime adaptions, video games, spin-off stories, a live-action movie, and a large variety of anime merchandise.
Dio is so evil you have to hate him, and it's always fun to see his evil on screen, but he still has character development, like learning that humanity has things to offer and showing his manipulative and charismatic personality he has towards his minions. This long-running series has received many accolades, including grand prize for manga at the Japan Media Arts Festival. Even then there is character development (Johnny Joestar getting over his depression, Koichi learning to have courage, Okuyasu learning to be independent of his brother, Rohan finding purpose outside his manga, seeing how Jotaro, Joseph, Polnareff, Dio, and other recurring characters from past parts show how they've changed overtime) As a JoJo fan, I can agree with some of this stuff.ĭio is the main villain of 2 parts, gets name drops in 2 parts, is the father of one of the part's main JoJo, and has an alternate version in another universe (but their very different characters)Ĭharacter development isn't completely ignored but, yes JoJo isn't that type of show.
